A project where all 250 second year AMFI students (Fashion & Branding, Fashion & Management and Fashion & Design) are divided into 10 teams. Every team analyzed one area of Holland and filtered out trends. We did our research in Drenthe and Groningen and in just 2,5 weeks time we had to translate these trends into a sustainable brand according to the zeitgeist of 2020. The brand KOMPOT was realized in a brandbook, brand manual, business plan, visual 3D presentation and fashion collection.
Assen, Emmen and Groningen are all cities that are very isolated from the urban area of Holland and they are a strong unity in preserving their past. The layered peat soil has conserved traces of a long history of human habitation so the landscape tells a tale of the past. Today they want to keep on writing the history of their scenery and find a way in coping with being isolated. Kompot will help them to find back their identity and show it to the rest of the world by uniting the strengths of the region by preserving and reliving their old crafts and local products, combined with the technology of 2020.
